Where wild grasses end, our memories begin.

A newsletter of real wild herb recipes and true stories, shared with care.

We were born in France and grew up in a hillside village in Sardinia, where our childhood was spent in the countryside – with cousins all around and long afternoons spent foraging for mushrooms, asparagus, chestnuts and whatever else nature offered.

We met Emanuela online, on a gardening forum. One evening, as I was leaving Milan for Ancona, I sent her a message: "Do you know a good restaurant where you can eat tigella and ham, not too far from the motorway?" "Sure, come to my place!"

Her home became a haven of peace, a place to recharge with a plate of passatelli in brodo and typical Modena charcuterie. Emanuela is now an extra sister. The children pass clothes like cousins, and share the same messy hair and wide-eyed wonder.

Whenever we are together, we take long walks: the woods and mountains are the places where we feel most at home.

These are the same stories and recipes we've been sharing for over a decade, in a conversation that never really ends.
