Peuplier urricane

The hurricane poplar

Poplars grow en masse in landscapes where greenery and water are abundant.

You may be wondering why we chose to create one of their leaves as part of our first products, and the answer is a small forest, in a pot, on my patio.

A pot large enough to allow them to grow, while respecting the construction rules of my building, but a pot nonetheless.

This improbable forest was born elsewhere, 3 years ago, in a smaller vase, near the kitchen window of an apartment located on the third floor of another building. Near the basil to be more precise.

The seeds of the poplar trees fly very high, but the third story is bold enough even for them, so how did they get there?

With a hurricane!

An unusual event in Luxembourg, which fortunately only generated material damage and stories to tell to future generations.

When the little plants started to grow, we didn't have the courage to pull them out, seeing how many plants the wind had damaged that day, so we found a place for them to grow.

And here they are who keep us company, allow us to appreciate the beauty of leaves, the differences in shapes and colors, and remind us that unexpected events are full of possibilities.
